As a previous owner of 3 x S1000XR's & a GS1250 i then jumped ship to a Multistrada V4s for this past two years. Now that the Italian itch is scratched i collect my new GS1300 on Friday which im looking forward to.
Loved the Ducati and an absolute riot when in the mood but therein lay my problem. Yes, i could easily tour on the Multi but i always felt it never like cruising along at low rpm whilst taking in the surroundings. Transmission was a bit snatchy low down and not as relaxed as my GS1250 was. When you were "making progress" it was a riot and better than my skill set with all the electronics you could ask you. Liked the dash set up which was easy to navigate and work maps through. Radar cruise was great with the prominent blind spot a godsend at times. Anyway, hoping the GS gives me the same pleasure as the Ducati and glad to have the peace of mind of full warranty again!!
