I wonder if the biking press will ever mention the replacement engine/ corrosion fiasco?

I prefer silver, black is dated to me and looks really bad once it has become slightly discoloured.

If you're an old fart, the silver engines hark back to the days of old, when most bikes had silver engines, so there's probably something nice about the old/ modern combo.

BMW has obviously released this.

I'm younger than most of you lot, so prefer black.

Do any other modern adventure bikes come with silver engines?

Mine has a silver engine and it's definitely the better colour, anything else is just naff. If i change it for a GS with a black engine then of course black will be, er, the new black and absolutely in my opinion the must have colour
