Does anybody have pictures of any of the Baglux range on a GS/GSA ? I really like their bags but am wondering if some of them are going to be too big and obscure too much of the controls when they are full ?
This is a picture of mine on a rather misty Italian pass.
Not sure if it will help as the bag doesn't expand but I have no problems with the clocks being obscured.
Regards
Steve
I will post a pic of mine later but my experience would be that you should have no problem at all with with obscured controls. The only issue you may have is a honk of the horn on full left lock or if you have spots fitted, and depending on where the switch is, you may inadvertently swich them on full lock also.
I have been using this on a 1200gsa with the appropriate tank cover. I have changed the bike and the tank cover has gone too. Because this is a shorter bag specifically designed for trail type bikes it does not catch the instruments on full left and right lock and sits far enough away from the headstock that you can read all instruments.....and it could be yours for a reasonable offer(sorry for crossing threads). the beauty is that all fittings for baglux are standard so they can be interchangable. the dimensions from the web site are as follows
Dzeta
Tank bag for trail bikes with a shorter tank such as the Tiger and Africa Twin. Available in black will fit standard buglux tank covers
Dimensions (cm): L:33 W:38 H:21
I use the small Baglux non-expander and it's good enough for all quick access documents and stuff. I use a large Buffalo expander as a tail bag for wets and tools etc ... yesterday morning in St Valery-sur-Somme on the way home ...
