I will keep it short. 2007 GS and a new Bagster tank cover.

Have searched for fitting tips and understand the two sets of rear straps and the two eyelets at the front - no problem.

However, there are three straps at the front. Central one goes round headstock I assume, but what about the two on the sides, where do they go.

Been messing around for so long with this that the bagster has been warmed up and then gone cold too often to count.

Help me please.

I had this same problem with a Bagster tank cover for my Hornet.
I ended up cutting off the 2 "spare" rubber hanging straps either side of the Bagster and after 2 years I haven't missed them, yet.
But, please wait awhile before you follow my example as a proper knowledgable person will be along soon.
And yes the central one goes round the headstock.

I don't know if I have the "right" solution, but I strapped these straps around the pipes going to the oil cooler. It was the best I could come up with at the point....

Yep, put them round the cooler pipes, not too tight.

Funny how the headstock strap has a mile of spare length, yet the rear straps struggle to reach at all.

Not a straightforward installation, but looks nice now its done.

Thanks all.

Bagster tank cover

You are sure that the cover is for the 2007 model and not the 2008 which has a different 'tank?;' Part number 1564U is for the 2008 model and all the straps have an obvious attachment point.

Pass the Front Straps down the "outside " of the Oil Pipe and further down, looping under the "Black" Subframe Tube which is about 1.1/2" further down, Feed it "up" passing the "Inside " of the Oil Pipe and through the Strap Buckle and secure. Same for both sides. This way there is no "Pull" on the Oil Pipe.

lots of sense on here. Yes rear ones struggle to reach and front one is huge. I would avoid looping around oil pipes as there are plenty of frame type bits in there to use
