Hi everyone
went out for a blast on Sunday and got caught out in the driving rain with Mrs G
when i got home the bike was covered in crap and cos the weather had got better when we finally got home i cleaned it down because of all the salt on the roads - anyway i could smell this rancid putrid oil smell coming from the shaft.
left it over night and checked it again - yep oil seeping out of the black ring in the shaft - took some pics and emailed to Jody and Greg last night (Monday)
four hours after i started work on Tuesday Greg called me to say he had sorted it all out - and will be repaired under warranty (i have the extended warranty in place) and when would it suit me to bring it in ? i replied any chance on Saturday - no probs was the reply.

with all the doom and gloom about these days i just wanted to big up all the team at Bhanstormers and say thanks for looking after my bike - i have received nothing but first class service every time ive needed help

it would be worth giving these guys a ring next time you have a problem

nice one Greg :thumb2

update

well took the bike down there Saturday
the guys checked the bike over and gave it a trial run but they were not happy with it
so had the bike back on the ramp and dropped the shaft and had a look
i was then advised the UJ was shot and needed replacing - Alistairs first main concern seemed to be to make sure i could get home ok and was offered a bike.
the guys put my mind at rest and ordered new parts on Monday and had it fixed by Tuesday and i collected it tonight.

As said many times before first class service all the way - my 18K service is due soon, so not worth asking me where its going :thumb

thanks everyone :clap:clap:clap:clap:clap
