My second year of having the GS looked after by Bahnstormer.:clap

The service was excellent and this year due to work commitments I was unable to deliver it to them, so they collected. They turned up bang on time and delivered it back too.

I feel sorry for the guy who cleaned it (thanks by the way), as it had been off-roading two days previous and was rather muddy.:augie

Cheers Guys.:beerjug:

Agree completely

Took mine in for a check on the clutch (slipping) because Vines had no time to look at it. Glad I did. Firstly, they have plentiful loan bikes, friendly staff and they clean your bike really nicely. Also, if they see something that needs doing during a repair (clutch was contaminated) they tell you about it and fix it too (my ham-fisted Autocom wiring). True gentleman! The nearby roads are great too.

It should get a place in next year's Rider Power survey. Won't be going back to Vines, as it always seems to be an inconvenience for them that I want to have my bike serviced by them!

Good crew , they exchanged a low heated seat ( used ) for a new standard heated one for £50 .

juts wait

you must be kidding !! Just wait till something goes wrong , like SPC and you will be very sorry . Their service might be OK for now, but give them some time and they will tarnish like their predecessors !! I won't touch them with a 10' barge pole despite buying a Dakar and GSA from ex-Tim / ex SPC !

y

just wondered what happened to you when you took your bike there ??

Meow!

When you say ex-Tim, do you mean Tim ex-of Coopers in Reading, who was then occasionslly seen in SPC & Bahnstormers, very good chap if so, bought many bikes from him. (Hi Tim!)

Bahnstormers are a totally different set up from SPC, they gentleman who used to run/own SPC was a crook, the Bahnstormer guys are EX-BMW UK and know their onions, very proffesional, I recommend you give them a chance.

Always been pleased with the friendly professional service I have got and everyone I know who uses them is equally happy :thumb2

I bought my '07 Adventure from them last November.

Very high quality sales and engineering environment, incredibly friendly without being 'pushy' ... just professional ... a very nice place to be and do business at ... I left a dealership I had been buying bikes from for ten years to go to Bahnstormer ... when choosing a BMW dealership I was looking for a sense of customer service comparable to my past experience, so this decision was not undertaken lightly.

To date I cannot fault them.

.. am happy thus far..

Dropped in for a 6k service, no 02 moblie network signal at the dealers so could not do any work while waiting. They've given me a loaner so I can tootle into Alton, no hassle. Nice touch.

So you have no actual issues with Barnstormers themselves, just SPC? Seems strange to carry a grudge seemingly connected by a postcode?

Bahnstormers appear to me to be a very well run sensible business, and have always done their best to offer me good service, they even return their calls Thats a first in my experience and certainly a big step up from SPC's days
