Just back from Baja. We rode down from Victoria to Cabo St Lucas on the tip of the Baja peninsular with a great bunch of guys we met while staying here in BC over Xmas 
.
Talk about an eclectic group - there was a Dutchman, an Belgian, a German descendent and two purebred Canadians (at least more than a couple of generations!) plus us two geordies - guess which of us no-one could understand!
The trip took exactly a month door to door and ended up being the highlight of the year. The roads were fab once you realised that while the locals weren't actually trying to kill you they would probably do it by accident (see the Semi heading for our side of the road).
Baja is one amazing place and while this doesn't do it justice it should give a taste. Still haven't managed to start a ride report but stuck a few pics/clips onto a suitable bit of music.
