Anyone accquired goldfren ceramic carbon brake disc pads set at £36 on the GS site from ebay ,if so is this a cheap alternative or a good buy????? 1200gs -o8abs

at that price your gettin ripped
i buy em trade at 6.50 a set plus vat,,,,or i would do if i thought they were any good,
i tried the normal, touring and race ones, took em out , crap,,cant see these being any better, (ceramic? more heat to make em work?)
buy bmw, carbone lorrain or ferodo,,
are brakes worth risking for a few quid?its only a few pence a month difference for good pads if you work it out

i can vouch for steptoe,s ferodos,i got some off him to experiment with
i usually get carbone,or bmw, (or vesrah cos i can get em trade,)
they are every bit as good, if not better than most of the others

I only sell what works and is value for money, not on what i can make the most profit on. I also use what i sell on my own bike.

And like D6 has said, i wouldn't sell goldfren pads despite the huge mark up, they are appalling. They used to be called newfren, but the reputation was so bad it looks like they needed a name change.
