BAKERY OFF ROAD RIDE OUT 2010

Locals will be there I recone the HARDCORE :thumb

I'm planning on getting out and having a look at a few lanes- more than likely sticking to the tougher tracks as these won't have the sheet ice over them- it will just be in the bottom of the ruts :D

If anyone wants to follow, you are more than welcome, however you do so at your own risk, and please only come if your confident on your bike, and can plan your route ahead so you don't nail the poor bloke in front of you.

Outside now it's thawing quite quickly. Now it's water on snow/ice in places.

Is this a good idea? :D

Myself and some friends went to the plannies in Andover for a bit of fun. Was very very muddy but at least it gave a soft landing ! Bit of ice getting up there but fine once we were there - place was like a swamp but I managedto avoid being filled in lol maybe they took pity as I was the only girl!

Thank 4 the 28th ride out, best cancelled event we've been on! appreciate your patience with the super-moto [Jake]. [DRZ] Adey, [KLE] Kev & I {DRZ]. Please Pass on our gratitude to Nathan also. See you on 16th [Hopefully]

Thanks Nathan for your guidance, patience and manual work, guess the choice of tyres was a bad one retrospectively, still, live and learn, kept us all fit.
We enjoyed the company of yourself & Dave.

Kind regards.
Stephen & Kevin

Your welcome!

It was an amusing morning, though maybe a little prep in the tyre and clothing department might make your next ride out a little more enjoyable??:augie

Steve,

A thought has just occured to me, seeing how this event seems to be growing somewhat:

what other parking options are there if the main car park fills up??

Nathan

Nathan - That's a good point.
I will be coming in the car with trailer (not that I am too far away) to same the nobblies. I have space for another bike on the trailer if anyone near to me wants to share the journey and cut down the spaces needed.

I was considering parking up near one of the huts up on the plain circular routes and riding back to andover for the start. There should be a lot of space up there (just chain trailers to towbars to stop them disappearing)

Most will only be there for THE START, and trailer folks can go to THE BELL at Weyhill and park trailer and car, landlords cool with that.

Theres across the road in PORTWAY CLOSE, any folks that know my house, we can fit 4 or 5 cars and trailers here

I'll be there with my son and his two mates, so 4 of us :thumb2

Looking forward to it :)

Bike on trailer
new batteries in camera
new front tyre
new clutch

virtually ready to go. Looking forward to it, I will see the rest of you trailering down on the a303 :augie
