Balancing throttle/carb bodies

I'm going to have a go at doing my own valve timing and throttle body balancing. I need to purchase the kit for doing it though. For those that do it yourselves what kit do you use/recommend for the balancing?

I use a Morgan Carbtune Pro but will be getting one of the new ones from Grok when he does a 2 & 4 cylinder version of the Harmoniser (see Vendor section).

In 2005, with my first GS, I started fettlling with things:

I also use my old Morgan Carbtune and also a GS911 to park the idle stepper motors prior to synchronising the throttle butterflies.

Smooth as silk.

Prior to owning the GS911 I used to try and hold a 'fast idle' (which isn't) at around 3500-4000 rpm to avoid throttle stepper motor interaction.

A trusty set of vacuum gauges which I bungee to the 'bars so I can see the changes under load on a test ride. Makes it easy and avoids the stepper-motor interference.

BTW - I imagine you'll be setting the valve clearances, not the valve timing......
