Looking at the Touratech bar risers, they recommend fitting a long brake line 3 cms longer that the original. Their part is £68, which seems costly for that size hose. Does anyone know of any other vendors that sell these ?

which bike?

On a 650 Dakar a 25mm riser doesn't require any change to the brake hose despite what TT may say.

Yes - I'd been told that up to 25mm is OK on the bikes - TT do a 32 mm one as well which is of interest , but not if there's an additional sting of £68 for a hose.

Option B is measure the current one and get one made up 30mm longer :augie

Yes, there's not much option on re routing the pipe.
Getting one made should be about £40 ....try contacting Venhill, they make cable and hoses:thumb2

+1 for Venhill if you do need a longer one. Very reasonably priced for steel braided kits.

I have a 25mm fitted with no hose issues. Could possibly take the extra 7mm judging by the amount of play. Could be worth a try before shelling out cash.
