Bar Risers / Radius Risers at Nippy Normans

I went from Nippys Radius risers to a set of Rox risers. No difference and wished i'd just kept nippys and saved quiet a few quid.

No trouble with cables on either of the types on a GSA.

I've got a set of Nippy's Radius Risers knocking about the garage if anybody wants them. Come and collect em' or pay the postage and they're yours.
Hi.........do you still have the Radius Risers ? Happy to give you something for them plus postage.....
Feel free to email or call- I'm a new member (as of today) but my details should be listed in my profile if I understand correctly.

Cheers for the risers Aubo.:bow

Fitted them this evening in the forward position, which sits nicely for me and means I can stand up on the pegs without having to stoop down :thumb

One question, can someone tell me the torque settings for the riser mounting bolt and the clamp bolts?

Cheers

Hi all,

Has anybody fitted bar risers to their 1200GS/GSA , in particular the Radius Risers that move the bars both upwards & backwards ?. I have been thinking about risers for a while and the radius one's sound a good idea, but I'm not sure how much cable re-routing would be required ?

Cheers

John

Hi John
I fitted a pair of NN radius risers to my 1200GS before I went on a recent jaunt through France to Corsica and Sardinia (3250 miles in 10 days),it was a vast improvement on the standard set up.They were also very easy to fit, no cable fouling, recommend them.
As a matter of interest I also fitted a friction type cruise control (also recommended) and had a gel pad fitted to the seat (helped a lot, but still had a sore a*** after about 2 hours riding)

Found another thread which suggested 28Nm so went for that:thumb

Just make sure you tighten the top two first then the bottom. It is normal for there to a gap in the bottom bar. Hex much easier than torx bolts.

Since I fitted my Rox risers and added a gel seat pure heaven.

Jaws risers +1

I just bought a set of risers from Jaws in Norfolk http://www.jaws-motorcycles.co.uk/bmwgs.htm#risers for a bargain price of £22 along with a throttle lock; parts arrived within two days and they look very nicely made. Will be fitting them tomorrow and have been assured they should work with the standard tank bag.

+1 :thumb2

Top quality and service. Maybe if Jaws charged £60 more Tossers would buy them :hide
