Bar risers

I fitted some Wunderlich bar risers today - the thing is, the clamps on top of the handlebars do not meet the risers on both sides of the bars - i.e. there is a gap between the riser and the clamp. The bolts are screwed down tight. does this matter or should I put some spacers in there ?

Not a problem if tight. There was a gap when I put the TT ones on.

You should tighten them diagnolly (Sp)
