bar risers

HELP!.just purchased bar risers for my 1200gs 2005,put them on,but braided cables (brake&clutch)are too tight.is it much of a job to drop the suspension fork to feed the cable. through to the other side

Remove the caps on the fork tops and remove the retaining nuts then slide down the legs and pull the cables/hoses through the gap, refit legs, bolts & caps then jobs a goodun

Do them one at a time tho

One basic but very important tip. Make sure the bike is on the CENTRE stand before you start dropping forks.

Obviously I did this and the job was very straight-forward

just to be sure,the insurers said now they have been informed,there is no problem.they have noted the change on my policy.
