Hi
Has anyone fitted any rox 2" pivoting bar risers to their 1200gs? I'm wanting to fit them as I'm 6'2" and standing on the pegs is a bit of a stoop....... if so, have you had any issues with brake/clutch lines etc. Thanks

got the pivoting rox risers on my 09gs. fitted them no bother. just had to disconnect the throttle cable and reroute it. you will easy manage to work it out once you start if you are any use with spanners .

Have you already bought your bar risers? If not, I have some Rox damped anti vibration risers which don't fir my 2006 model, they are for a later 1200. Shot me a PM if they are of interest to you.

Cheers..... I've had a bit of a play about and I can't see the cable/hoses being long enough. Think I'll try rotating the bars forward (and up) in the current clamps a wee bit see if I can get an extra inch or so

Hello, I have 2012 GSA if the vibration risers fit I would be interested. Struggling to PM though, do I need to be a paid member.

Yup. Need to pay your subs to send PMs.
Get it paid, best £12 ever.

Yep, all done now.

Must introduce myself and show off my bike. Not that its much different to everyone else's I guess. I bloody love it though.

I have ROX anti vibration risers (2-1/4" rise). They reduce vibes on the GS when mounted near vertical (but not when near horizontal). I found the risers tended to shift in the clamps so before long the handlebar would be out of line. The solution was to use a 22mm bore x 28mm OD aluminium tube between the risers. Slot the tube ends and fit one or two grubscrews to lock the risers into the tube ends. I now have no problems with the risers shifting in the clamps.
