Looking for block bar risers for 08 F800gs. Anyone know where or if they are available. I noticed SW Motech do them for F800GSA but will these fit the earlier F800GS
Thanks
Peter

eBay number 262660000653

Cheap & cost effective.

Some of the other risers go up too far far the cables.
I would ask on the forum in the 650 / 700/ 800 section to see which ones fit without altering the ( mainly break cable )
As I found out when I went to put my Rox risers on my 650GS twin

Wunderlich do a pair of block risers for the X Country but don't seem to do a set for the 800GS. I like them as they don't move.

Hi Pete
Yes Wunderlich do a pair of bar risers. I've just put some on my new 800Adv. :thumby:

Thanks for the replies Mark and Snappo. I had those on an X Challenge a few years ago. I found they moved if you had a fall off road and were difficult to get realigned. I've a wunderlich riser on an X country just now, the actual spacer/riser sits immediately below the handle bar and so the supplied longer clamp bolts hold the bars more securely

The rubber bushes on the 800 do allow the bars to move which seems to be a bit worse with the extra leverage from being taller. Must not have dropped it hard enough in Spain to move the bars though :D

I fitted these to my 2014 800GS a couple of weeks ago (Not sure if they fit all years, but you could measure yours) and I am very happy with them. All the cables and hoses still reach OK, the only possible negative is that if you lean the bars back at about 45 degs you can foul the plastic moulding around the key/power sockets slightly.

I have 2 inch Rox risers on my 800gs. They are excellent for the position I like. The recommended Rox is 1,3/4 though. Do not use antivibration Rox risers. Mine came from Adventure Bikeshop. Cliff is very helpfull !
