Hi, looking at potential some bar risers. I’m 6ft. The bar feels a bit far away and low, and feel the bars being higher will help with counter steering, anyone notice any differences. Many thanks
I have bar risers on my 1250; can't say I've noticed it makes that much difference to steering, but it is a much more comfortable reach, especially when standing up occasionally (while on the bike...)
I installed the 30 mm bar risers from BMW https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/176999986083.. They make the riding position a bit more comfortable, but it's not a dramatic difference. That said, the risers don’t seem to have solid contact with the underside of the handlebars, which is a bit concerning.

They're not supposed to which is the same whether risers are fitted or not. The correct fitting method is to torque the front bolts down first with the rear bolts undone so they fit flush with the front of the riser, then torque the rear bolts down (IIRC it's 19nm) leaving the gap.
Yep, it's how they're designed. Pics of my RS below with the front sitting flush on the riser and the gap at the back. The gap allows for the bar clamps to flex slightly so they can grip the bars
