Barkbuster handguards

Hi, anyone purchased or tried these handguards? Wondering about fit and can you use the BMW original hand guards. Cheers.

He does and now there fitted to his XR, they fitted over the oem guards on both bikes. They look ok too.

I have. They are really robust and will take a hell of a prang to bend them. I got the adventure guards and they looked great, however I should have got the 'Storm' guard for more weather protection.

You'll need to buy the specific fit kit for you bike. No the original BMW covers won't fit, got to use their items.

As per the last post I have the same set up on my LC. The storm covers are almost like muffs

I'm thinking of fitting these to my GSA for a trip next year.

I had a set on my old XT660. Protection was great but removing the bar end weights caused bloody awful vibes. I know the lumpy Yam will be worse than the GSA but anyone experiencing worse vibes through the bars with these fitted?

Roger that, the video I saw of them being fitted to a GS showed a different fixing that replaces the weights, hence my question
