Basecamp Preferences

Looking at preferences in Basecamp it has Interstates, major highways and state highways in the routing preferences tab. Do i need to mark them all to avoid motorways?
My Zumo 395 just has motorways hence my confusion.
Sorry if this has been posted somewhere but I cant find it if it has.

Avoid Interstates if you want to avoid motorways.

Easy to check. Plot a route that where you would normally ride up the motorway and then ot the same route with Interstates avoided.
