basic do-it-yourself fix it book

Hello,
I am starting my first RTW trip on my 2004 R1150GS in two weeks. I decided it would be a good idea to bring a do-it-yourself fix it book in case I break down. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good manual.

Not sure about a manual, but I'm sure Touratech do a DVD / Video. If you're stuck, I would have thought you could make your own basic notes from that.
