Oh Dear! a Bit Cack handed?

You will learn You probably won't do that again (especially after you have to fit one)

Warning If the tank is still fitted Do Not Switch on the ignition you will get a spray of 20 odd psi of fuel out that wee pipe!

Now you need one of these LINKY

Niggly things.....don't worry, you'll get'em sorted and then you'll be out grinning like a loon on it :D

Motorworks are great.......well worth bookmarking them.

The other really useful site to have bookmarked is REAL OEM for diagrams and OEM part numbers :)

Dusty It is sold as a whole part

Reason being that the pipe is shrunk to the injector holder thingy

You could practice on your old one with Boiling water to help soften the pipe and extract it

I don;t hold out much hope for that as I am not sure the bugger will seal correctly when refitted

But "maybe" you can get away with it

Cheers Doc

That was the plan of attack, I race 1/5th Scale petrol cars as another hobby. we get the same issue with the tubing hardening, the hot water approach is a my first port of call after that I'm buying a Ducati!!!!

Cheers Again

Cheers for the offer I've ordered a second hand jobbie from Motoworks .... however if it all goes terribly wrong....

Well thought i would up date you all....

Im glad to say fixed it!!!!!!!!!

Well i used the hot water method, but via a steamer, covered all the relevant important bits with a towel, steamed thend of the pipe an managed to work out the broken shaft.

Used a bit of petrol on the shaft of the plastic housing.

Using swimbos hair dryer i kept a constant heat on the hose.

Very carefully whilst the hose was hot i managed to push the hose down slowly but surely.

After about 30 mins it was on. I let the tube cool, then fired the bike up and let it run for about 10 mins....

No leaks.....

I'm so relieved... many thanks to everyones advice and offers of parts... it is offically possible.....:bounce1
