Just pxd my old 1100 gs .Got the same price as i bought it for 8 months agoagainst a adv excellent service

I've posted a message about them some time ago, I've had three bikes from them (incl my current GS) and can only praise their great service and to a large extent fair deals (last one wasn't that fair, but I sold my old R850R at the wrong time of the year, etc.)

I've heard - however - plenty of negative stories about them, mostly on the bike sale (rather than parts/service) side, and have mentioned it to them (well, if you don't tell 'em, they won't know and may not know they have to change, given that Rydale in Cardiff, CW in Dorchester and BVM in (er, somewhere along the M5 north of Bristol) are just up the road and good competition:eek: .

Still, I like them. Just bought a new jacket (Belstaff) from them - was £219, reduced to £189, got it for £160 ("I'll knock something off, you're a customer"):beerjug: :D .

Hi, Just to reiterate what you've said about Bath Road BMW.

I'm new to the 'bmw' biking experience. Bath Road was my first option........
I was greeted by a friendly helpful sales person, who explained with enthousiasm about a specific bmw I was interested in.

The sales person explained that a good couple of hours test riding was needed to see if I liked the bwm, and if it suited my needs.
I was given a very competative part exchange and offered a quote on finance if requested.

Again rydale in Cardiff were superb..... I had an excellent part exchange deal.
I was undecided on a more expensive RT or a cheeper GS.
After a discussion with the sales person on my needs, he persuaded me to opt for the cheeper GS.

I was shown the GS and explained it's workings. I was offered a test ride. I had not pre-booked this test ride so but they were ok about this.
No time limit was given and off i went.

Two very helpful, friendly dealers, which i know ill be back at some point to buy from.
Thankfully I live smack inbetween them. So i have a choice of whow to choose.
You don't get that type of service in your normal Japaneeeees dealer. They sell you the bike and then couldn't care less after that. I know from passed experiances.

cheers. Merry Christmas to all who reads this.

Kevinoram, I had a maths teacher called Miss Oram, any relation?

So your going to buy a GS ad you live in South Wales... So get on with it and then get out with the rest of us and you too could be getting up at 6am on a Sunday to make your days ride out a longer one :)

Bob (Smiling everytime he's riding his bike)

Firstly let me apologize about the spelling mistakes. I was slightly under the weather (pissed) yesterday.
Regarding a Miss Oram.
I don't think she's any relation. What school did she teach at?
What subjects? And most importantly, was she bloody good looking?
My dad's was a Maths and English teacher. I Caerleon (gwent)

Mind you he gave up on me years ago.

Still after all these years life don't add up right.

Cheer and Merry Christmas to you
