I have a May 2005 1200 and was just told that the battery is on its knees. Not a surprise since I have the dreaded click click a couple of times. I was tempted to mail order the Hawker, but the mechanic at the dealer pointed out that if you buy a new battery off them it comes with a 2 year warranty. So what do you guys reckon? Go for the 2 year warranty and have reason to blame the dealer if I have further cold starting problems, or go for the Hawker?
I do have a BMW charger to keep either in shape.
