Does anyone know the model number for a GSA 1200 Twin cam battery.
I have a motobatt just now which is sounding a bit weak so might replace it.
Its a 14 amp according to the spec sheet but I'm finding it difficult to find the model number in a search.

If it's a twin cam it can't be that old. My 6,000 mile 2013 model has some lazy starts but as long as it always gets there in the end I don't worry. The LC has a mechanical decompression thingy so they've gone to smaller battery but I suspect this lazy starting may have nudged BMW in that direction.

Have you actually failed to start? I actually think my bike is worse since BMW decided to go to 15/50 (it actually made my C1 a bastard to start and I had to have the muck removed 50O miles after the service and have 10/40 semi put back). I may go back to 10/40 in my Hexhead.

Ah, could be the heavier oil as I'm using the 15/50 too.
Started getting a bit lazy to turn end of last season so I might just see how it goes.

I think I may do that too, life will get easier as the ambient temperature rises. Are you also aware that BMW have now switched to Shell oils and dumped Castrol?

Well I'm not having that, I take in my own oils now - I'm Castrol all the way !

Halfords have a yuasa YTZ14s @ £80 less 20%. £64. No idea how long the deal lasts. Think they deliver free. Seems a good price.

I doubt it's the battery. Mine does it after a full cycle of the BMW battery charger.

Nice to know about the Halfords deal though.
