Battery issues 2011 800gs

Well today was earmarked for a good delve into things but the sun was shining, for once, and I haven't ridden since Christmas so with 12.62v on the battery I buttoned things up and went for a ride instead!
This was after knocking a big bucket of garden shed and fence stain on to the garage floor and making the bike a sort of camouflage green!! Rapid deployment of the pressure washer required!
I will get to look into it soon, it's not the headlight connection, tried that earlier this week.
