BATTERY LOCATION E200

I Bought a 1997 mercedes e200 estate 2 weeks ago
in liverpool went to give a friend a jump start the other day
but couldnt find the battery any advise help please as to the location ,its a 1997 e200 estate yes i know its nothing to do with gs'es but that dosent solve my problem help please.

Either under the rear seat or under the boot trim om the offside rear - I can`t remember which one but I am sure it is one of them!

i looked there but it wasnt evident will check again and try rear seat thanks ,j

On my A class it is under the drivers feet, my be there

Under the rear seat behind the driver

remove the bench part of the rear seat and it is under a cover there

but if it is like the later E's there is a lug under the bonnet for jumping and charging .

open bonnet and it is by the nearside wing under a cover with a pos sign on it
