Battery Removal / Storage

I'm lying up my bike for a few months. Power in the garage is down so has anyone had any dramas with removing the battery altogether for that sort of period? Having looked at the forum I realise I will have to 're-set' the throttle when I put it back in. Any other issues people have had? It's an '04 GS by the way.

Never had any problems myself, or heard of any problems on here. Just reset the TPS, reset the clock and you should be good to go.
