Hi may be silly question my battery has died and needs replacing I've ordered a motoblatt item

Do I need to do anything special to change it or just do it the old fashioned way ie ignition off remove and replace.
Or do I need a team of IT expert's to get to all to work again

I thought you needed to reset the TPS. From memory that is ignition on then open /close the throttle 3or4 times. I could be wrong but it will not do any harm.

Never did that when I fitted a new battery.....

No need to reset the TPS , that dates back to the 1150`s .
Just change the battery, although by disconnecting the battery the Adaptations will be reset and will take a couple of tanks of fuel to relearn, but you may not even notice this.
