I have a pair of Cardo Spirit units which, while not that old, have been left for periods unused. The net result….batteries now only taking a partial charge and lasting a couple of hours if that switched on. Has anyone put new cells in these units and able to offer advice on how to do it ? Is it even do-able?

I imagine that they are similar to the Cardo Packtalk for which there are replacement batteries available from eBay and AliExpress. Remove cover with a T6. Cut the leads on the original battery and splice them to the leads on the new battery.

I had a similar problem so sent my packtalk edges back to cardo and they replaced the batteries for me. Very helpful chap on the phone as I recall. Just inside warranty so was free but I expect they would do it for a reasonable charge...
