Battery woes

Hi you guys, went out to go for a sunday morning blast today, guess what, wouldn't start. Battery not up to turning the bike over. Lucky I live on a hill, just as well it's at the higher end as well.
Anyone had any battery upgrades/changes on their Megamoto yet ? Mine is a sept 08 reg bike, still under warranty untill 2010 I know, but was going to call anyone out this morning.

What options do I have, did I read that BMW have a replacement/upgrade battery for these 1200gs derived bikes ? If so what is the part number for it ? Is this something I should be careful of, or should I be happy to be 'given' another ordinary soon to go flat original one.

Any help most appreciated.

It seems it is a fairly common issue on the MM, if you are warranty you may just want to get a replacement, but I have heard the Odyssey is a good replacement unit. Once mine dies I will likely try one of those.

same problem on the HP2E, most people but an odyssey in. their is a thread in this section that talks about it but I cant find it...
