Don't forget the last proper Clan battle in Scotland fought just outside Wick:

You'll need knobblies to get to the battlefield.

battle of Sheriffmuir 13th November - a good pub there I am told.
Battle of Flodden 9th September - but we'll need a piper for that one (the boys didn't get a result)
Battle of Largs - so as not to leave the Norwegians off Scot free - 2nd October - plenty of chips and ice cream there.
Battle of Otterburn 5th (or 19th depending on which side you were on).

Some excellent ideas for runs on here.

We'd be hard pushed to do them all in one year, maybe once we've got some more suggestions together we could split them over a longer period?

Flodden would be a good one for an overnight stop in the area. Decent roads and a run into seahouses for Feesh an chips.
