nice innit, is it an Ossa ?

Good eyesight Andy. Hopefully a bigger pic appears.
I should say that this bike is not mine. My uncle had a 350/360 when I was a teen, and it was at that time probably the best trials bike I had ever ridden. Wouldn't mind a shot on one of them again, but I don't have the skills for competition any more.

Johnny, just checked the dates for these proposed battlefield gatherings:
16th April - Friday
24th June - Thursday
27th July - Tuesday (I know ye cannae come)
11th Sept - Saturday

Culloden 16 April
Bannockburn 24 June
Killiekrankie 27 July
Stirling Bridge 11 September
Whatever direction ye take is up to you

I'll miss the Killiekrankie one but does anyone fancy the idea:nenau

Your ride out is to the battlefield :oonyack

Brilliant idea and not always at the weekend which is good for me however I will miss every one as I am offshore or on my Summer Hol (KillerKlanky reinactment)...

:blast

Putting these dates into diary - not a commitment to being at them all though - and wondered if we are meeting for lunch?

Pointless it would be if we all agreed to turn up, but without a central time for meeting, we could miss all the sunny disposition that become's available at SS gatherings.

And if we be coming for lunch, is lunch in Johnny's part of the world, at 12.00 / 12.30 / 13.00? I'd prefer 13.00....
Of course, for some venues it might mean bringin yer own soup'n'roll, in a flask.
However, on the other hand, I might not make any of these, but guidelines would be helpful:D
I thank you!:beerjug:

my dads mate had one when i were a lad, lovely bike :thumb2

Not one in particular, just it seemd a reasonable idea! I've never been to Culloden anyway, and I think I can go on Friday - might just do that anyway!

It would be a nice run up there for me but I'm too busy....thought being 'un waged' was meant to give you loads of free time??

In my experience planning "unwaged" time is harder than planning "waged" time! Never knew there was so much I could do. Planning means having 'bike time too mind!

"We fight not for glory"

"We fight not for glory nor for wealth nor honour, but only and alone we fight for freedom which no good man surrenders but with his life."

Robert the Bruce (Brus), King of Scots, 24 June 1314
