Well that doesn't prove anything

where are the pics of it loaded? How did it it handle?
Yeah kind of forgot to take any pics. I'll regret it when I'm senile...
Handled fine.
A44 from Wales is a fine road with much bend swinging on full noise - did not distract from the ride at all.
Wouldnt have wanted to do the actual rally with 'em on tho'
Getting the front road wheels onto the bar (changed the wheels Sat nit at the hotel) was tricky, bit tight. Needed to scrounge a mallet to tap em off too. Something we didnt test. Dunno why, just a fraction of a mille in it I guess. Easy to fix.
Earthmover, Harry - Cheers for the feedback, thanks. I was seriously chuffed to whip some fancy KTM ass on what is a pretty scruffy (but sorted!) GSA. Even has standard shocks. That said I hate to say it but those 950 Super Enduros do look good. I am tempted to turn to the dark side. or is it the bright side?
That said it would mean trailering there and all that, and I do think the spirit of these events (I mean come on I am 50ish and on a bike that owes my £3k and got 2nd) means bikes that are too good are not really playing the game (but hey, each to their own). I'd love to see some system where road bikes get some sort of compensation in the event.
Plus I do commute rain or shine 45miles each way on the bike I rode on. Doubt there's any SEs that do that! And if I got an SE it would have to do the same and how would that work out.
The GS is really quite unique!
