Hi, I had a spill on my 1150 GS the other week and the bracket on the frame just under the ignition that holds the support for my beak has broken. Because it's aluminium, it looks like I'm going to have to take the front forks and all the electrics off to have it welded. Is there another way of doing this?

Don't want to spend the big bucks to repair something that seems so simple.

Help! please!

thanks.

Hey Tim,

Thanks for your reply. I was wondering what the beak did anyway....

The piece that's broken, though, holds up the radiator and instrument panel, so I don't think your solution will work.
