Beemer Backfire

Hi all has anyone experienced this,start off going through the gears, roll off to change gear, and the backfire starts, if so what’s the remedy please

Mine pops or crackles a bit as you change down. I've no idea what the remedy might be.

I'm not too worried about it although it might be related to it occasionally misbehaving as in this thread. I've got a GS911 now, I just need to get a laptop and see if there are any errors showing. I filled up with E5 unleaded on the last tank and it seems better than the E10 stuff.

Oddly enough i've just put E5 in today so i'll see how that goes,,Thanks for your reply
