that after 6 weeks of not riding, my cruise control switchgear no responding to my engagement. Slid a switch into ON position, pushed the paddle forward and nada, no light, let go of the throttle and bike started to decelerate. I forced a paddle few times quite hard and only then it gone in to accelerate mode,( In other words, as if I had a cruise control set at day 60mph and I wanted it to gently get up to 70mph) this lit the light up on the clocks for as long as I held the paddle in that position, once I let it go, I was back in the cruise control "off mode".
Anybody else had this problem?
I recall that the switch was playing up back in the autumn, but dismissed the idea of it being broken for possibly me not applying correct amount of pressure to the switch.
I was near by to the Lind Mottorrad (Formely SBW Motorrad) and popped in with the hope for them to be able to check it out for me but was told that service personnel are due to go home in 15 minutes and it'll take longer to investigate. So I have now booked bike in for the diagnosis for next Saturday.
Any input or suggestions as to what is the problem and what is causing it be welcome
