Hey folks, can anyone tell me the part number or name of the bolts that secure the skid plate/belly pan to the bracket under the sump and the nut it requires

They look to be M5x20 bolts but I’m not sure what the other details on the bolt are for (8.8). Guessing it’s a strength or quality.

As for the nut, can you tell me what it’s called i.e is it self tightening or not

Cheers

Look at RealOEM.com for part’s diagram and numbers etc. Enter your VIN and it will find your bike details

The nuts are called 'spire chimney nuts'.
In the case of a 8.8 grade bolt the first figure signifies that the Tensile Strength is at least 800MPa. The second figure signifies that the fastener will begin to yield at 80% of the Ultimate Tensile Strength, i.e. at least 640MPa. Its a fairly standard spec.

Cheers leadfarmer, I always over tighten bolts. If I had a pound for every time I’d have the mortgage cleared :ROFLMAO:
