Got a beowulf down at the bike show it was delivered next day . One with carbon fibre outlet . looks and sounds excellent and what VALUE for money !!!!!:):thumb:thumb

Yep got one- titanium stubby. Took it off after a few months as got tired of the sound - was OK, nice and bassy but had a sort of "fluffy" edge to it. ive heard better. Once I took it off and put he stock can back on I noticed that a fair proportopn of the vibes at higher revs disapeared- presume because the stock mount has a rubber damped mount and the Boewulf just mounts "hard" to the frame with no damping. Also I didnt think the instalation was particulary neat with extra link pipe and clamps that are required. On balance I much prefer the stock can (apart from its ridiculous HUGE size). Didnt notice any improvement in power etc over stock.

Mine currently languishes in the shed......I guess I could be persuded to part with it

What my last paragraph in the post above SHOULD have said....

Mine currently languishes in the shed......I guess I could be persuaded to part with it for a UKGSER friendly price. Its in pretty good condition apart from the fact that i took the Beowulf sticker off of it. I would subscribe and put it in the for sale section but have just been made redundant on 23rd December (nice timing!:() and money is a bit tight......any interest?

Sold to TheJoker (top bloke!) thanks all for interest.

Thanks ever so much! Genuine top bloke. Stay in touch. :)

I've washed the bike now, so I'll put the can on, probably Tuesday evening. I can film it and you can hear the noise, if there's anyone who wants that.
From my first glance, it looks like a very nice piece of kit. :thumb2

I'll see what I can do! :)

While you are at it why don't you post that vid of you killing your k1200 on the Nurburgring you showed me when we at the Ace cafe on Saturday!!

People of a nervous disposition should not look......!

Naaah - we tried putting that vid on the net, but people draw very strange conclusions from it, so it's best "off-line".

However, I have some clips and photos off the Beowulf can, I'll try to find some time to get them to you today.

Right guys. Here's the video. Hope it's of any use.

I do have a few photos of the bits and pieces too.

Install was basically very easy, except for two minor things. First is that the link-pipe was very difficult to get on. It's a very, very snug fit. In fact I don't really know how I'll get it off. If I'd do it again, I'd probably sand down something to make it a bit easier to fit. Secondly the can is a bit too low to align up to the holding bolt, but that might be due to the first issue.

All in all, I'm happy and keen to go out for a ride. :thumb2  :beerjug: :clap
