I like the looks of that back rest thing...where is that from? Having had a fracture in my lower back, I now get it starting to ache on long runs... one of those may help a lot?

I bought a Beowulf exhaust for my CBR during the winter and it's a great bit of kit. Very affordable and good British quality. Would defo reccomend.

It's a sergeant seat and back rest. Really comfortable, highly recommend it.

cheers, will have a look. I guess if you only have one arm you need it to stop you going backwards and pulling on one side of the bars. Broke my arm a good few years ago and tried to ride my push bike... not a chance especialy up hills.. so much respect to you riding a GS. :thumb ..

Yes, it's the accelerating that causes the hips to ache with the rocking motion. It also makes long rides very comfortable.

Ordered yesterday. arrived today and fitted just now. Took me about an hour - I am a disabled rider with only one arm so putting on the brackets was "challenging". The Beowulf sticker comes off easily. Looks awesome and only cost £209 delivered.

I fitted the same on my 1250gs, but the popping sound on deacceleration and just in general upshifting has driven me crazy. The original pops but nothing like the Beowulf.
On my FJR i could just blank of the air dilution from the air box and that sorted it out.
SO ANYONE KNOWING HOW I CAN RESTRCT THIS POPPING I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL.

I've only had one short (10 mile) ride so far and must admit I didn't notice anything unusual. I had a Remus on my GS1200LC which did seem louder. It would be nice to be able to get out properly and find out what it sounds like on a decent trip.
