Finally collected Bertha from Flipfly at the weekend and brought the bike home.
Took it out for a brief ride today and very pleased with it. Significantly more power than my R100RS (which I suspect is still not 100% right) and brakes on an airhead that work! Managed to lock up both wheels down my driveway.
The reason for the exhaust smoke is simply because it is so cold here this afternoon.
Yes, the GS Club sticker will be removed as soon as possible.
Bike feels so much lighter than my R1100GS.
I think I got a real bargain. I at last have the collection of Airheads I wanted. Just need a monolever g/s for the full set.
