Best Insurance?

You've got to shop around every year, can't accept a renewal. Always get on online quote from your current insurer - you'll be surprised!!

BMW Insurance won't cover non-BMW's, so no good if you've got the sense to own other (more reliable!!) brands as well, or you plan so change your bike in the term of the insurance.

BMW Insurance

I got quotes from all the usual suspects when I bought my GSA back in March. Nothing under £300. Ended up with BMW Insurance for £187 fully comp with 3 yrs n/c, protection, legal and 90 days abroad. I then have the option of adding my K bike on in September for hopefully a nominal amount.

bennets i don't think so

been with bennets for the last year fully comp 432.71 renewal quote with 1 years no claims 467 god bless them

footman james exactly the same details given 230 and the excess was 50 quid better so it does pay to shop about and not to take the auto renewal as i was going to until i read this thread

so now i can renew subs here and have a few days :beer::beer::beer: fun at bennets expense

Nominal amount? Yep, probably about £12 :thumb2

I went for the BMW insurance, it did cost a bit more than the comparison sites best, but its got a name you can trust and some useful extras. If you are lucky enough to have more than one bike, you can add it on to the policy for next to nothing and the European cover is good.

but its got a name you can trust

You are new to this aren't you? :D

and the European cover is good.

The European cover is bog standard EU, plus a small handful of countries like Switzerland and Norway. Not as wide as some who will include Morocco and Turkey....popular destinations for the discerning adventurous Tosser.

Only if it's another BuMW and it is not in a higher rating category than your existing machine.

It's really big stumbling block is that it is administered by Devitt (or Monkey-Theme-Park-R-Us)

most of the other insurance companies didn't offer the same cover for this price though; and by the way everyone has to start somewhere
