Hi all It’s that time again for insurance who’s got the best deal and worth going with.
1300 GSA, 59years old, license 42 years, 6 years no claims bonus, Birmingham postcode, garaged over night and then pleasure only around 5000 miles a year.

I use Moneysupermarket and then compare on Topcashbackcompare. The latter usually wins.

Your risk factors are different to everyone else. Underwriters amend their risk factors frequently and brokers alter their commission rates even more frequently to balance profit and market share.

The main thing that affects the price is timing apparently. Martin Lewis says the sweet spot is 21-28 days before renewal. Leave it to the last few days and the price goes up.

Get a short list of quotes and then ask for opinions. No point someone recommending an insurer for you to find they have your postcode or bike model on their shit list!
