UK again Pah!..
Can anyone recommend somewhere that sells Tourances to fit an Adventure, I need a new set in about 3 weeks and my local Dealership tells me GBP239 fitted, is this a good price or am I better advised to buy on the webynet and get them fitted my self - If so where from?

TIA

Better to buy from a local bike shop rather than your BMW dealer, I would have thought. A lot of places will fit for free if you take the wheels in (OK if you have a car, although I just park the bike up outside the shop and remove the wheel there :) ).

I would have expected to pay about £160 ish for a pair of tourances ...

Tourance

Just been looking round myself best l have found From Round and Black 01582 600788 110/80V19 + 150/70V17 Tourance £145 + £7 p/p but only in Dunstable so you could collect This price is for a pair but do sell separately.

That is nice and close, do you know if they fit as well? Hmm, is that the little narrow shop in a Victorian red brick building with the tyre bay at the back? If so they fitted a back tyre on my blade (loose wheel) would not let me watch and scuffed the rim badly, but I do remember them as being cheap for BT56G's many years ago.

Never been there myself l think Wollaston will fit, ballance, and new valve for £10 a Tyre to loose wheels.

Had a pair fitted last week at Protyres (there is one in Enfield). £170 fitted. Probably could get them cheaper but at my age I like to ride the bike in and have a coffee and read a magazine while someone else takes the wheels off and on.

I've used National Tyres in Northampton several times, they've always been good value.

Robsom Racing at Shipston on Stour are doing a pair for £187 fitted.
