Rudiemoto serviced the 1200 gsa and the 650 Dakar the other day.. what can i say me and the missus have never had a service so good .....

seriously though ... we are off to Alaska and Rudiemoto went through the bikes with a fine tooth comb and checked everything, He even spent ages teaching me loads of things to watch out for and how to do on road repairs. A great bloke, he sorted all the electric out on the Dakar and even fixed my Land rover faults in ten seconds flat.

I would recommend him for any one who is going for a little trip or a RTW.. A VERY fair price too. Cheers Jonno

Yep, top bloke is Jono...he'd give you the shirt off his back if you needed it........even if it'd be stretched around the belly area A true gent, and a good mate as well as a damn good mechanic

yes i left chester for a few reasons mainly the 116miles a day
also i have bought another 2 up 2down in farnworth that is getting a make over

the hose on clucth slave has just broke off
the rear brake nipple has snapped and my tummy needs filling


ps i dont have a gt1 to plug in gs 12oo but i still do all service type work for all 1200 's and 1100 and the best type the 1150
aprilias i have computer to remapp and reset


colts bike is getting there as soon as motorworks send the parts

Ha Well it sounds like you are being very thorough Jono.
I thought I would give you some bits to play with.
I am pleased you are enjoying working on it.
Lots of new experience on the clutch hose and now the fuel filter studs.

I am glad I gave you the bmw adventure hoses to fit.
otherwise you would not have spotted the rotting original 2002 banjo .
broken clutch hose and broken rear brake nipple

Same with changing the fuel filter.
I was assured it was changed as part of a 24thou service with an independant bmw specialist

The stainless parts I supplied and you also ordered were from Chris Shaw Engineering,
well know ,as well as his dad keith shaw.
Top quality good and service from Chris.

It was overdue a rehaul and some new bling
