I have gone through two back tyres in 9k is this about the right milage they were Metzeler tourance exp is this about right? What would be your choice of tyre and what sot of milage do you get out of them?

Old Style Tourance, 6k to 8K

Loads of threads on this. But here's my experience again. Had EXP's fitted from new, got on really well with them, felt at home straight away. Only got 5500 miles out of them so decided to put Tourances on as folk say you get approx 8k from them. So far there's a huge difference in feel, the Tourances are not a patch on the EXP imo. However, I've been informed on here that Tourances "come to you" after 1k miles or so, so we'll see. But my view at the moment is the extra 3k miles is not worth the lack of feel, so will probably go back to EXP's. I'm interested in trying Contis though as a lot seem to like them. Mind you a lot like Tourance, and so far I don't
