I find it easier to describe what I don't like in a specific tyre.
So here goes :
Anakee : due to longitudinal thread pattern at rear : dribbles in curves when 2 up. I expect same for Anakee2 since pattern hasn't changed. Not for me.
Battlewing : can be scary in wet, esp. over painted roadmarkings (more than other tyres). Great fun in dry, very confidence inspiring. So far my preferred tyre in the dry.
Trail Attack : takes long to warm up, three different rubber zones (for longevity and grip) at rear gives uneven wear (see
http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=174629). Weird slides at back in dry. Great mileage. Will not buy again.
Tourance (old) : designed for stability, so pretty boring, doesn't handle as well as others, great mileage though. Confidence inspiring in all weathers, but no fun.
Tourance (EXP) : front falls into curves with great ease, handles really easy, remarkable difference compared to old Tourance. More grip too, so less mileage. Front nervous at high speed.
I haven't found the best tyre in the wet yet.
I've read so many tyre threads, and think that tyres are really something personal, it fits your character and driving style or it doesn't. Some trends can be observed though. Mileage versus grip, for example. Have a search, and you'll find similar opinions start to appear, which indicates something structural.
