Better Head Race Bearing Replacements for 2008 F650 Twin?

Hi All,

My ones are starting to go after almost 6,000 miles since the warranty replacement.

Are there any other aftermarket ones which I should get over OEM and last a little big longer?

Should I go for ball and cage or tapered needle ones?

Probably best with tapered bearings. SKF are a premium brand. My 09 658 came with NTNs, IIRC lasted ~ 12,000 miles.

Just put a set of All-Balls bearings into mine, courtesy of M&P. They come with nice sealing rings, looks like grease and water will both stay were they belong better than the standard kit.

No worries - the sticky is normally a good place to start, failing that use google to search the site, particularly stuff like this as there are so many variants (headrace, head race, steering head etc etc)
