I did the FD oil change and felt the bevel gear have some movement to the sides, it's really not much. I can't move it up or down (in/out).

What is the tolerances suppose to be, I can't find info in the Hayens manual? Can I tighten it? If I can how and how much?

Is this play in the bearing or are you referring to 'Tooth Backlash'?
There should be 0.1...0.22 mm. of tooth backlash. There's no reference in the manual to play in the bearing.
I found a very small amount of movement in my bearing last time I changed the FD oil but not enough to worry me.

MacJ it's in the bearing, the play on the teeth backlash seems okay. The entire bevel gear can move sideways. I cant' find any details in the manual. I do have a funny vibration through the foot pegs when cruising constant at around 60 or 80km/h and tapping of the throttle, I tough this might have some relation to each other
