It has finally happened. The hipster wave of fashion for redesigning / reconstructing BMW bikes has imploded.

I'm a huge fan of individualism and creativity, and love all two wheeled contraptions. I even have a hard tail custom, with a Norton engine, and I think the 'board tracker' perhaps the purest and most beautiful period of motorcycle aesthetic.

But this goes beyond the edge of acceptance.

Enough, no more. Tis not as sweet now as it was once before.

ah yes...the hipster factor..... pushing the cost of old beemers FAR above where they should be

Glad I got my ST cheap......

and spending a fortune getting it to where I want it....but its only money, and the bike is a keeper.

.... Bikes.... a passion, and an obsession !

RIDE SAFE Y'ALL

For every well executed , properly thought out and well built bobber or flat tracker or cafe racer there must be at least half a dozen utter pieces of garbage, or bikes so badly mutilated that they will be never completed .
Give it 5 years and standard aircooled boxers will be so rare and costly as to be almost unobtainable.

That is really nasty isn't it :D

I must admit though, I do rather like their K bike

Most of it was always utter shite... More people trying to out style each other and do a bit of latte cruising... It may be interesting if the price of all the Airheads that are left drop too as many of the buyers had generally over inflated and over estimated the worth and abilities of Airheads on general...
