on the edge of buying a 2610

SP 2610

After three days solid of searching all the companies and their offer I could, I have just bought my 2610 from sportextreme. £533.00 including postage. Bought Ram mounting kit and audio power lead for headset use from RAM Uk, bought ballsocket from Migsel. Finally purchased headset lead from Autocom to fit current in bike system for £25.00

Total cost RAM £70
Autocom £25
Migsel £57
Sportextreme £533

The item from Ram included spare cradle and handlebar fitings in case I decide to move it from the instrument panel to the bars. Log on to www.ram-mount-uk.com

Click on customer galleries and you will see various options for various GPSs and bikes.

The mount from Migsel currently only suits an 1100/1150GS.

Hope this is of some help.

"will prices get any cheaper?" Probably but I can`t see it being much, just be thankful you didn`t buy one a year ago when they were going for £900ish!
Ive just bought one for £575 inc RAM mount but no bike power lead & so far am VERY impressed with it :thumb

Just buy it & learn how to use it just in time for spring & summer ride outs

my hands almost on my credit card now, but will prices get any cheaper?

Of course they will continue to drift down, probably more slowly now, until a last flourish as they are replaced by something newer. at which point, you will be wondering the same thing about the newer replacement.

like pc's or anything else electronic.

only practical step is to wait until the last minute before you need it, then buy and then stop looking at the prices.
